Speech-Language Disorders


​At Cedar Lane Speech, we strive to make sure every child has a voice.

Cedar Lane Speech offers evaluations and therapy for several communication disorders including speech sounds, expressive/receptive language, fluency (stuttering), voice and alternative communication.

Our goal for therapy is to make each session effective, engaging and enjoyable.

​Services

At this time, Cedar Lane Speech accepts private pay, Blue Cross Blue Shield (includes FEP, HMK, MCN, PMC, PPO, TRA), Medicaid, Allegiance, Cigna, EBMS and Tricare West. 

CONSULTATION

A 15-minute complimentary phone consultation is available to discuss the concerns and needs prior to an evaluation. 

EVALUATION

An evaluation is completed by a certified speech-language pathologist to determine current strengths and weaknesses. Each evaluation includes a written report, observations and recommendations. Cedar Lane Speech offers the following evaluations:

Speech Sound Evaluation 
Fluency Evaluation 
Comprehensive Language Evaluation
Speech & Language Evaluation

THERAPY

After the evaluation, the therapist will discuss the plan of care, which will address treatment options, the frequency, and the length of time recommended for services. Services are available for in-home and online via teletherapy. Typical treatment sessions can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.
